Paint a flower covered in sparkling diamonds of the morning dew! In this four-part class, you will learn how to paint flowers, and how to add raindrops on its leaves and petals. A tulip, rose, poppy, or morning glory? You can pick your favorite flower. We'll share our favorite painting techniques that will result in impressive paintings of blooms and rain drops . Beginners welcome. Returning students will be able to take their paintings to the next level.
Part 1 & 2: Learn step-by-step how to paint a flower. We will get really close to the flower, and make it magnified - to how a bee would see it. The instructions will help you start with composition by demonstrating the principles of a balanced placement. You will paint its shape under the close guidance of your instructor, following along the simple steps, whether you choose the same flower of the demo, or your own flower. You will create your painting in full color, add the background, and bee ready to add raindrops to it.
Part 3 & 4: This is the part when magic happens! (Keep in mind, your photograph of a flower does not need to have raindrops on it!) You will learn step-by-step how to paint dew drops and raindrops - the exciting technique that will make your painting irresistible! After this course, you will be able to paint raindrops on anything! You will learn the “formula” of water droplets - one of the coolest art tricks ever.
