Recordings and Use of Online Classes:
By participating in our online classes, you acknowledge and agree that sessions may be recorded for educational and promotional purposes.
These recordings may include audio, video, and other materials presented during the class. Recordings may be used for the following purposes:
- Providing access to students who are unable to attend live sessions.
- Educational purposes, such as creating study materials or additional resources.
- Promotional activities, including but not limited to website content, social media posts, marketing materials, distribution on other platforms, and sales as standalone courses.
If you do not wish to be recorded or have your likeness used for these purposes, you have the option to keep your camera turned off during class. Please note that while turning off your camera will prevent your video from being recorded, your participation in discussions and activities may still be captured through audio.
Artwork Display:
Art created during our classes may be showcased on our website, social media platforms, marketing materials, and other platforms for promotional purposes. This may include photographs or digital representations of the artwork, along with the artist's name or pseudonym, unless you request otherwise.
Memberships:
Your membership begins on the date of purchase and remains active for the duration of your selected billing cycle (monthly or annual).
Membership Types
Studio Basic Membership
Includes unlimited access to Prima Materia's complete recording library, including new recordings added during your active membership.
Studio Plus Membership
Includes everything in Studio Basic Membership, plus four (4) Personal Projects sessions per billing cycle. Unused Personal Projects sessions expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over.
All Access Membership
Includes unlimited access to all live classes, including Painting Courses on Mondays, Essential Drawing Course for Beginners on Tuesdays, Drawing Courses on Wednesdays, Advanced Coaching on Thursdays and Fridays, Figure Drawing on Saturdays, unlimited Personal Projects sessions, and unlimited access to all class recordings, past and present.
Membership benefits, such as access to live classes and the recording library, are available only while your membership is active. This does not affect courses and/or recordings purchased separately, which remain accessible for the access period specified at the time of purchase.
Membership Renewal
Unless canceled in accordance with these Terms, memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle.
Monthly memberships renew every 30 days.
Annual memberships renew every 12 months.
Members are responsible for managing their automatic renewal preferences before their renewal date.
Enrollment Fee
A one-time enrollment fee applies to all new monthly memberships. This fee is charged only once when first enrolling in a monthly membership.
Annual memberships are not subject to an enrollment fee.
The enrollment fee is non-refundable.
Membership Pricing
Active members who maintain continuous membership will retain their current membership pricing. If a membership is canceled and later restarted, the member will be subject to the membership pricing and enrollment fee in effect at the time of re-enrollment.
Membership Holds
Studio Plus and All Access monthly memberships may be placed on hold for $15 per month. Studio Basic monthly and annual memberships are not eligible for holds.
While a membership is on hold:
All membership benefits are temporarily suspended.
Access to recordings, live classes, and Personal Projects is temporarily unavailable.
Membership pricing is preserved while the hold remains active.
Annual memberships are offered at preferred pricing in exchange for uninterrupted membership and are not eligible for membership holds.
Members may reactivate a monthly membership at any time by contacting Prima Materia Art Institute.
Cancellation Policy
Monthly memberships may be canceled at any time by emailing hello@primamateriainstitute.com with "CANCEL" in the subject line at least three (3) days before the next renewal date.
Cancellation requests submitted fewer than three (3) days before renewal may be processed for the following billing cycle.
Telephone cancellations are not accepted.
Cancellation ends future renewals only.
Membership fees already paid are non-refundable, and membership benefits remain active through the end of the current paid billing period.
Annual memberships remain active for the full membership term and are non-refundable.
Family Add-On
Active monthly or annual All Access members may add eligible family members living in the same household for $50 per month.
To qualify:
Both members must reside at the same address.
The Family Add-On is dependent upon the primary member maintaining an active membership.
If the primary member places a monthly membership on hold, the Family Add-On will also be placed on hold.
If the primary member cancels their membership or fails to maintain an active membership, the Family Add-On will automatically terminate.
Prima Materia Art Institute reserves the right to suspend or terminate Family Add-On privileges if eligibility requirements are no longer met.
Refund Policy
Because our digital platform grants you immediate, unrestricted access to our entire recorded course library upon checkout, all payments are non-refundable. To prevent content exploitation (e.g., subscribing to download or view material and immediately requesting a refund), Prima Materia Institute does not issue refunds, partial refunds, or credits for any reason, including unviewed content and unused mentorship passes.
Individually purchased recordings remain accessible to the purchaser for the duration of the agreed amount of time.
Membership access to recordings, live classes, and Personal Projects is available only while the membership remains active.
Prima Materia Art Institute reserves the right to modify membership pricing, benefits, policies, and these Terms & Conditions at any time. Existing members who maintain uninterrupted membership may retain grandfathered pricing where applicable.
