When purchasing tempera, we only recommend the Blick Premium Tempera. All other tempera is not good quality, even Blick Student or Blick Essentials.

Bristle paint brushes, variety of sizes
11x15" Cold Press Watercolor paper (or size is up to you)‍
9x12" drawing paper (you'll paint these papers with tempera to create your color library)
Small cups for mixing colors
