- Stretched canvas or wooden crate, 9x12 or larger (any size / shape: rectangular, square, oval, or round). If you choose canvas, it must be primered.
- 2-gallon or 3-gallon container or bucket with airtight lid
- Acrylic paints, colors of your liking (must include black, white, and the primaries)
- Bristle and hair brushes in various shapes and sizes
- Latex house paint, matte (not glossy), any pale color (paint leftovers from any house painting job, or off-white oops paint from a paint store).
- Note: must be latex, not oil-based!
- Palette for color-mixing
- Box of gloves in your size
- A stack of newspapers for protecting your table and floor
- Plastic sheet or drop cloth to protect your floors
- Blow-drier
- Scissors
- Optional: White gesso primer
The project can get messy, so please wear appropriate clothes that you don’t mind getting some paint on.
