When purchasing tempera, we only recommend the Blick Premium Tempera. All other tempera is not good quality, even Blick Student or Blick Essentials.

Bristle paint brushes, variety of sizes
9x12" Cold Press Watercolor paper
Paper media such as old sketches, music scores, posters with lettering, maps, pieces of wallpaper, decorative papers, monochromatic photographs, etc, to be used to cut and paint over
Elmers White Glue
Palette for color mixing
Cup for water
Paper towels
Clothes you don't mind getting paint on
Optional: gold leaf or gold tempera
