Techniques of Charcoal

Charcoal set (includes willow charcoal, compressed charcoal sticks, charcoal pencils, eraser, and sharpener)
Extra box of willow charcoal‍
Razor, for sharpening charcoal pencils (rather than using a sharpener)
Tiny retractable eraser
Charcoal drawing paper
Blending stumps (this set also comes with sandpaper which can be used to refine the tips of your charcoal)
Paper towels
8x10 inch canvas*
Set of hair paint brushes
Workable fixative spray (for when you're done with your drawing)
Cup of water
Gloves in your size (these are latex and powder free) or finger cots in your size (these contain latex).

*The size of the surface you draw on is up to you. If you already have a drawing pad and a canvas, use what you have. The projects in this course can be done on any size.
