Black Blick Premium tempera paint, diluted to 60% paint, 40% distilled water

Small airtight cup keep to diluted tempera in

Clothes you don't mind getting paint on

Tempera paints*: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Black, White (click here for a set)
Bristle paint brushes, variety of sizes
9x12" Cold Press Watercolor paper, or any size you want, but if you are ambitious, go with the larger paper: 18x24” to 30x40”, which will require an easel and a support board with 4 clamps.

Black soft pastel
White soft pastel
Blending tool such as blending stumps or q-tips or paper towels

Optional: Board (the boards size should be slightly larger than the size of your paper).

*When purchasing tempera, we only recommend the Blick Premium Tempera. All other tempera is not good quality, even Blick Student or Blick Essentials.
