Before the College Portfolio Program, Rachel had taken a lot of art classes here and there and still did not see much improvement in her art. At Prima, she finally found her artistic identity and her evolution as an artist happened very fast: she was instructed to go bigger, and next thing she knew, she was on a scaffold painting giant, floor to ceiling pieces.
Rachel was surprised to discover that her ADHD was her competitive advantage: while others worked on one painting, she was able to complete five! It is no wonder that when she applied to SAIC, she was admitted there with a high merit scholarship.
