When you normally draw a figure, you start with the outline. In this course we will do it differently. We will explore the technique where the steps of drawing are reversed and the black outline appears at the end. It will be accomplished by leaving a thin space of black around all the edges. This approach to drawing (and painting) is not new. A great artist and innovator Vassily Kandinsky invented it before he shifted to abstraction. This method results in a unique appearance of the artwork - and artists who want to grow always seek ways to expand their breadth. The “found outline” is a fun way to exercise your concentration and develop further your artistic skill: it requires a new way of thinking while in the process of drawing.
