This is not a course on classic portraiture, but instead on how to create portraits with no prior art experience and have a ton of fun painting people. We'll share our favorite techniques with which we've taught hundreds of beginners to paint portraits in a creative way. All these techniques are related to the way classic portraiture is done, but they're ingenious shortcuts that get results fast! With these techniques, students will be able to paint expressive and lively faces. Learn how to deal with hair, facial features, understand basic proportions, and how to achieve likeness.
