Adrian came into the Portfolio Program as a Junior with big hopes and dreams, planning to pursue animation. He was to become the first artist in his family (one of his brothers was an aerospace engineer and the other a musician). Adrian’s progress in the program was extremely rapid. While building his skills, he realized what his true passion was– he abandoned the idea of animation and started to pursue painting. His college portfolio became truly professional gallery quality. When he applied to SAIC, his artwork was acknowledged by a full tuition 4-year scholarship. It meant that Adrian was offered to attend four years of college for FREE, plus the school would give him $4,000 for relocation expenses and books. Surprisingly, Adrian chose his dream school, USC. After a few years, he returned to Prima Materia to continue his professional development in the Mentorship Program. In two years, Adrian’s dream came true: he became a studio artist.
