Prima Materia Institute is donating all Online Art Classes to the community FREE of charge. We are replicating the exact experience of the studio lessons: you get introduced to a project, receive step-by-step instructions to the technique of the day, get immediate answers to your questions, and receive individualized coaching on your work from the instructor – and you can join these classes from anywhere in the world!

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR AN ONLINE ART CLASSES
- Go to https://primamateriainstitute.com/schedule.
- Find the class that you’d like to participate in.
- Click on the class and click “BOOK NOW”.
- Create an account or log-in if you already have one.
- Complete the check out process and you are done!
After registration, you will receive an email with the Zoom link, Zoom password, and supply list.
All classes are for those 15 and older.

Introduction to Drawing for Beginners
Saturdays 12:00pm – 1:00pm Pacific Time
This is the best online drawing class to start with if you are an absolute beginner in drawing. This eye-opening experience will engage you in hands-on exercises that will burst-open your mind to art and your artistic potential. All you need is a pencil, paper, and eraser. Everyone is welcome, the class is FREE for all. You can share and attend it with as many of your friends as you want – there is room for everyone.

Introduction to Painting for Beginners
Mondays 10:00am – 11:00am Pacific Time
Learn about all the basic aspects of painting: paints, brushes, color-mixing, and how to create paintings. You will discover that painting can be easy – once you learn techniques. This online class is as effective and interactive as the in-studio Introduction to Painting. You only need to take it once – and you will see your artistic potential. This class will open your mind and help you see that you can develop your skills further. This class is like a tester: to prepare you for the full Painting course. Painting is a joy, it can heal and inspire, and become one of your most profound life experiences.

Essential Drawing Course for Beginners Online
Tuesdays 6:30 – 8:00pm Pacific Time
This online drawing course is as effective as in the studio: it provides you with the essential drawing tips and techniques – to help you learn how to draw any subject. Each session is filled with energy: instructor’s demonstrations, students’ discussions and sharing of work create a rich and fulfilling experience. The international group of participants is growing every week. All levels welcome. Ages: adults and mature teens (15+). Inviting friends is encouraged.

POP Night – Portfolio Online
Wednesdays 6pm – 7:30pm Pacific Time
POP Nights (Portfolio Online Program) are for artists interested in developing a body of work for submission, whether it’s to art schools, galleries, or for professional job applications. POP Night guest-speakers include the most successful Prima Materia Portfolio Program alumni, who will be introducing special art projects and answering your questions, to help you create a winning portfolio. Instructors will present ideas on how to build your skills, find your unique voice, and make your presentation cohesive, working with you in real time.
You are welcome to invite your friends who need a portfolio. The class is free for everyone. All levels. Ages: adults and mature teens.

Mondays 6pm – 7:30pm Pacific Time
Every Monday, ArtLab starts with a presentation or demo by the instructor on the theme or technique announced. You will be able to follow along in real time from the comfort of your own home, using any art supplies at hand. Learn new techniques every month painting flowers, pets, boats, surrealist portraits, impressionist landscapes, abstractions, realistic scenes, and other subjects, too numerous to mention! Beginners welcome; inviting your friends is encouraged.

The Art of Meaning
Thursday 6:30pm – 8:30pm Pacific Time
Art is about more than technique — art is a language. In this online interactive class, the instructor will engage creatives in conversations and discussions on psychology, literature, poetry, history, and philosophy as they relate to fine art. Introduction to 3D Modeling and Visual Effects
Beginning Sunday May 17th, 2pm – 5pm Pacific Time
In this 5-week live online course, you will be introduced to the world of 3D art and visual effects by Jeremy Hollingsworth, professional artist-animator for Star Wars and Transformers – and a Prima Materia Portfolio Program alumni. This class objective is to inspire beginners who are interested in visual effects, and encourage traditional artists to use 3D as a foundation for perspective-based art projects. If you are considering the career in animation or illustration, this class will give you an artistic advantage, provide information, and answer your questions. The sessions will be based primarily on three dimensional art, but welcomes any skill level, from amateur to professional.
